Arbitrum DAO considers recovering unused funds from Game Catalyst program
on March 24th, Arbitrum DAO member Nathanvander Heyden submitted a proposal calling for the return of unused funds allocated to the Arbitrum Game Catalyst Program (GCP). The program, set to launch in 2024, aims to position Arbitrum as a leading platform for on-chain game development.
"We must gradually stop GCP activities and ensure all possible funds to protect the DAO's funds and restore investor confidence in the DAO's ability to allocate capital," vanderHeyden wrote in a governance forum post. The community member also stated that GCP is unwilling to document its activities and that the program has not fulfilled its promises.
