Tencent reportedly purchases billions of yuan worth of H20 chips from Nvidia
Tencent is accelerating the advancement of large-scale model applications. It was learned by reporters recently that Tencent has recently purchased a batch of new chips from NVIDIA. In order to deliver the order to Tencent on time, there has been a short-term shortage of NVIDIA H20 chips. A source close to NVIDIA stated that the amount of this order from Tencent is approximately tens of billions. As of now, Tencent has not responded to this. An Alibaba Cloud source told reporters that, to his knowledge, Tencent has purchased a large quantity of H20 chips in the short term mainly to meet the demand for WeChat's integration with DeepSeek.
