the ZK digital identity project Holonym Foundation announced the acquisition of identity verification platform Gitcoin Passport for $10 million to expand its network. The acquisition is said to be completed by the end of 2024, and will combine Gitcoin Passport's "human proof" system with Holonym's "human network", which uses ZK technology to achieve privacy-focused on-chain reputation.
